Brain Zaps, Cluster Headaches, and Hemispheric Migraines, Oh My!

Last summer, CVS lost the prescription for my SSRI three times while attempting to gaslight me about the provider not sending the authorization. Thankfully, because I am disabled and have Medicare, I have freedom to pick a different pharmacy - which I did. The entire process meant eight days without my medication resulting in the discontinuation symptoms: brain zaps and tinnitus. The tinnitus mostly went away, however the zaps not only stayed, they got worse and brought more symptoms along.
All of this cranial torture has been getting progressively worse until I broke down and called my best friend's neurologist's office. I was pleasantly thrilled to get an appointment within two weeks. Of course, my bestie was with me at the appointment and it was a very good thing. During the appointment discussing past head traumas and other items from my medical library, a cluster headache hit me. It was severe enough the Physician's Assistant was able to see and document the eye twitching from her chair and hear the impacts to my speech. A battery of diagnostics were ordered with a priority list. Amanda drove after the appointment.
The majority of the tests have been completed, the remaining one is scheduled for August, and my follow-up appointment is on 7/7. The following morning will be my breast biopsy (Get the Mammogram and pay for the Enhanced Screening folx). To say things have been hectic and my writing will continue to be sporadic is a drastic understatement.
All of these tests mean co-insurance and travel expenses. It is never expected or required, but if and ONLY if you have it to spare, tips are greatly appreciated.
